GoRentals.pk is a WhatsApp-native rental marketplace operating in Pakistan, owned and operated by PUREVIBE TECHNOLOGIES (PRIVATE) LIMITED. All data collected through this platform is managed and processed by PUREVIBE TECHNOLOGIES (PRIVATE) LIMITED in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Our registered contact details are listed on our Contact page.
Only what's needed to operate
We collect only what's needed to operate the service.
- WhatsApp phone number — your identity on the platform
- Name — as you provide it during onboarding
- CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card) — for verification only; never displayed to other users
- Property details (owners) — address, property details, video walkthroughs, rent
- Search preferences (tenants) — preferred areas, budget, property type, family size, lifestyle requirements
- Payment records — transaction IDs, amounts, timestamps; we do NOT store full card or wallet credentials
- Conversation history — your WhatsApp messages with our team (used to deliver the service and improve quality)
Why we hold each piece of data
- To match tenants with relevant property listings
- To verify the identity of users (CNIC verification)
- To process payments for contact unlocks and other services
- To enable direct communication between owners and tenants after unlock
- To respond to support requests and resolve disputes
- To improve the platform overall
- To comply with applicable Pakistani law
The lines we don't cross
- We never sell your personal information to third parties
- We never share your CNIC with other users
- We never reveal an owner's contact details to a tenant before payment
- We never share your search history with other users
- We never use your data for advertising on third-party platforms
How long we keep your data
We retain your data for as long as your profile is active. If you request deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, with these exceptions:
- Payment records: retained for 7 years (Pakistani financial record-keeping requirements)
- Dispute resolution records: retained for 2 years from dispute closure
- Anonymized aggregate data (no personal identifiers): may be retained indefinitely
What you can ask us to do
You can at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to retention exceptions above)
- Withdraw consent for any optional data use

How we protect your data
We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the seriousness it deserves.

As we operate digitally, your data may be stored or processed outside Pakistan, including in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws. We work with reputable global service providers (cloud storage, messaging infrastructure, payment processors) to deliver the platform. By using our services, you consent to such transfers, and we ensure all providers we work with are bound by appropriate data protection terms.
Why we're allowed to process your data
We process your information based on:
- Your consent (provided when you submit your details on WhatsApp)
- The necessity of fulfilling our rental marketplace services
- Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the platform
- Compliance with applicable Pakistani legal obligations
Where our responsibility ends
GoRentals.pk facilitates direct communication between verified property owners and tenants based on the information they provide. We do not verify the accuracy of all user-submitted information beyond the verification steps described in this policy and our Terms of Service, and we are not responsible for the outcome of any interactions, communications, agreements, or disputes that arise from the use of our services. Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before finalizing any rental arrangement.
If this policy changes
If we make material changes, we'll notify active users via WhatsApp and update the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance.
